Spring/Summer Mini Haul

Spring/Summer is literally my favourite time of year, I always get ridiculously excited about it especially when it comes to buying new clothes and bikinis. I picked up a few bits recently and figured I'd throw them into a mini haul (please bare with my iPod camera quality..I'm too poor to buy a decent camera at the minute)

I absolutely love this blue floral print body from Missguided and how it can be dress up or down with either a midi/maxi skirt for a night out or pair of high waisted jeans/shorts for a more relaxed look. It will be perfect for the summer at festivals or on holiday

Next is this gorgeous shoulder bag from Mango, it's the perfect addition to give some colour to a plain outfit with the royal blue and silver hardware not to mention the fact that it was an absolute bargain! Mango is one of my all time favourite high street shops and we're lucky enough to have a tiiiiiiny Mango section here in Jersey... better than not having it at all though I suppose!

This gorgeous off the shoulder dress in also from Mango. I'm not usually a red wearing person but I just fell in love with this dress and again, such a bargain. I would warn you though, DON'T buy it through ASOS.. for some reason they're selling it for £35.99 when on the Mango website it is retailed at £19.99! Does anyone know why ASOS do this on some items?

Finally from Mango is this gorgeous clutch and it was only £17.99 ..how could I leave it behind? I'd never forgive myself! Welcome to my every growing bag collection little clutch

Last but certainly not least are these sandals by Faith from ASOS. They'd been sitting in my basket for a while so I decided to take the plunge. My friends will probably be overjoyed that I am finally throwing my gold sandals away that I have been wearing for the past 6 years (some of them have been on a me to do this for a few years now).. it will probably bring be to tears. On the plus side these beauties make me an extra 2 inches taller.. WINNING!

The Celine Dupe // Missguided

We all know about the Celine sunglasses which took the blogger world by storm over the past year. If you're like me those glasses were just one of the many things being added on to my ever growing wish list of items which I will probably never get the chance to own. Needless to say, when I was scrolling through Missguided earlier this week and saw the perfect dupes it was literally a case of "that's going straight in my basket", before very quickly going through the checkout juuuuust in case they sold out before I finished browsing the website... you never know!

These are the perfect statement sunglasses to tie together an outfit and although the sun protection might not be great these beauties were only £8.00 so I really can't complain.

If you want to get your hands on a pair you can shop these sunglasses here!

How to Get That Summer Glow / Becca Cosmetics Review

Having fallen in love with the strobing and highlighting trend I thought I better treat myself to a nice highlighter in time for the summer. Initially I was torn between buying one of the highlighters from Becca Cosmetics or one from the Anastasia Beverly Hills range - both had been raved about across the beauty bloggosphere, making my decision that bit harder! In the end I talked myself into the Becca Cosmetics highlighter in 'Opal'. The product wasn't cheap, and to be honest after excitedly whizzing through the checkout I had a little bit of a panic when I realised how much I had just spent on a highlighter - I'm a student after all! I had also convinced myself that not one of my many make-up brushes would be adequate enough to apply this highlighter, and so I also bought the Morphe E33 fan brush! Oh the things we can talk ourselves into buying!

The Opal highighter is the perfect shade and gives you that summer dewy glow. It's definitely best to apply the highlight straight onto foundation rather than powder, it blends so much nicer this way. I used the Morphe E33 brush to apply the product and just a little bit goes a really long way - I was super impressed! The fan brush applied the product so nicely, so my guilt about spending so much on this product is no longer haunting me and it's safe to say I will be glowing all summer long!

Both of these products were bought online from www.cultbeauty.com and arrived within 2 days! If you live in Jersey or one of the other Channel Islands you will know that NO post ever arrives before 5 working days (I know..it's like a horror story) so I was really really impressed with the service and will definitely buy from them again!

A little bit about me.. My name is Stacey, I'm 24 and I have the pleasure of living in beautiful Jersey in the Channel Islands.
To be honest this blog was born due to the encouragement of both my fiancĂ© and close friends. I've always always been in to fashion and make-up, and for as long as I can remember I've been following fashion blogs and watching youtubers do their thing. As much as I always thought 'I'd love to do that', I was also too nervous to start..until now. I recently realised that it doesn't matter what other people think, on this blog I get to share outfits and products that I love, as well as documenting holidays and parts of life that I can look back on in years to come.
If you would like to follow me across other social media platforms you can find links to those on the home page of my blog!
